Does my brokerage firm support charitable stock transfers?

Not all brokerage firms support stock transfers to charities or donor-advised funds (DAFs). To find out if yours does, we recommend contacting your brokerage’s support team directly and asking whether they allow charitable stock transfers via DTC.

🛑 Daffy cannot initiate or accept ACATS transfers.

If your brokerage supports charitable transfers via DTC, you’ll need to complete their required form(s) to “donate shares” or “gift shares to charity.” Each brokerage has its own process and paperwork, so your brokerage’s support team can guide you through the correct steps.

Once your brokerage confirms they support charitable stock transfers, you can use Daffy's instructions to send your shares to your Daffy account.
