You can irrevocably contribute Bitcoin, Ethereum, and over 200 other cryptocurrencies to your Daffy account.
How it Works
To contribute crypto, you must first generate a personalized wallet address on Daffy (instructions below). The crypto you send to that wallet address is linked to your Daffy account.
This personalized wallet address allows us to liquidate the crypto and attribute the proceeds to your account.
Daffy liquidates your crypto when we receive it. We then send the proceeds (in US dollars) to your Daffy account as soon as it is available.
When you make a donation from your Daffy account, the charity receives the donation in US dollars.
It can take a few minutes to a few hours for a crypto contribution to complete depending on several factors outside of Daffy’s control (e.g., how fast it clears the blockchain, etc.)
Daffy does not charge fees on crypto contributions. Coinbase transfer and liquidation fees are charged directly by Coinbase and are reflected in the final liquidated amount deposited into your Daffy account.
