The time it takes for your securities to reach Daffy depends on the processing times of the brokerage firm sending us the shares. We've seen securities arrive in as little as 1-2 business days and as long as 2+ weeks.

Once the shares arrive at Daffy's custodian, Apex Clearing, and a matching stock intent is in place, we liquidate them and send the proceeds to your account on the same or next business day.
Timing can depend on:
How quickly your brokerage initiates and completes the transfer
The type of security being transferred (ETFs and mutual funds may take longer)
Seasonal volume (especially in December, when transfer activity peaks)
Whether you created a matching stock intent on Daffy for the shares sent
If it’s been more than 10 business days since your brokerage initiated the transfer and you don’t see it reflected in your Daffy account, contact us, and we’ll be happy to check on its status.
⚠️ Even if your brokerage shows the stock transfer as “sent,” the shares may still be in transit. Brokerages follow their own internal timelines, which are outside of Daffy's control.
