Donation matching is one of the most effective fundraising techniques. With Daffy Campaigns, Daffy members can fund their account and match donations to their campaign up to a specified amount.
As donations are made to your campaign, the matching funds you committed are automatically donated to the recipient charity or charities from your Daffy account. These donations are sent to the charity every week.
When you create your campaign, you can decide if you’d like to donate the full match amount to the recipient charity regardless of whether the match is 100% met.
This means if your match was $1,000, but your campaign only received $800 in donations, you can still donate the full $1,000 from your Daffy account to the campaign’s recipient charity or charities.
💡 You can also edit your match setting while the campaign is live.
Your campaign will stay active and continue accepting and matching donations until you choose to end it. If you end your campaign before the full match amount is reached, Daffy will automatically send the donation from your Daffy account to the campaign’s selected charity or charities.
