A Portfolio for Every Member
As a Daffy member, you put money aside for charities and causes that you believe in. Your money doesn’t sit idle as it may be invested tax-free in a portfolio of your choice, giving your contributions the opportunity to grow over time.
Daffy offers four categories of pre-approved, expertly crafted portfolios, as well as the ability to request a custom portfolio.
Unlike many donor-advised funds, Daffy doesn’t charge an additional management fee for these investment portfolios.
Conservative
Conservative portfolios are ideal for members who regularly contribute and donate from their fund, prioritizing capital preservation over long-term returns. These portfolios consist of cash, treasury, and bond funds from reputable providers such as Dreyfus, Goldman Sachs, iShares, Bloomberg, Vanguard, and Schwab.
Standard
For members seeking the best risk-adjusted returns net of fees, our Standard portfolios offer low-cost, globally diversified equity and bond index funds from Vanguard, a trusted industry leader.
ESG
ESG portfolios are ideal for members who want to incorporate sustainable investing into their strategy, focusing on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. These portfolios feature low-cost, globally diversified equity and bond funds from iShares by BlackRock, chosen for both traditional risk and return measures as well as ESG standards.
Crypto
For members who believe in crypto as the future of finance and are willing to embrace more risk, you can choose one of the diversified portfolios from Bitwise, encompassing stocks, bonds, and crypto, or go all-in with a pure crypto portfolio through Coinbase, featuring a Bitcoin/Ethereum split or a single coin option.
Custom
You can tailor your portfolio to match your unique giving goals and maximize your charitable impact. With hundreds of low-cost ETFs from reputable providers like Vanguard, iShares, Fidelity, and Bitwise, you can propose a custom portfolio for your Daffy fund with up to 10 different ETFs.
Expense Ratios
Our investment portfolios have standard expense ratios that are charged by the investment products themselves. You can find these expense ratios in the parentheses next to the ticker symbol.
