How do I set up multi-factor authentication for my account?

Written by Support

Daffy members can add passkeys or security keys to their account for a more secure login experience.

Passkeys are digital credentials stored on a device or in the cloud that replace passwords entirely. Instead of typing a password, members authenticate using biometrics (such as Face ID or fingerprint) or a device PIN.

Security keys are physical hardware devices (such as a USB token) that must be present to complete login. They provide a strong second factor alongside a password.

Instructions

On Web

  1. Log into your member dashboard.

  2. Follow the prompts to register a passkey or security key.

Choose the "Save another way" button to view all options. Otherwise, the passkey you set up will only be saved on your current device.

On iOS

  1. Open the Daffy app.

  2. Go to Settings, then tap Security.

  3. Follow the prompts to register a passkey or security key.

All registered passkeys and security keys are listed in your Security settings and can be removed at any time.

Security Notifications

Daffy sends an email notification whenever a passkey or security key is added or removed from an account. If an unrecognized change is detected, contact Daffy at support@daffy.org.
