Daffy is a national donor-advised fund (DAF) registered with the IRS. We are a not-for-profit community focused on encouraging people to give more to charitable organizations. Similar to other DAF providers, Daffy allows its members to donate to more than 1.5 million charities across the US.

Charities do not sign up to be on Daffy. Your organization is on our platform because it is registered as a charity with the IRS.

All public charities registered with the IRS are legally required to publish certain information about their organizations. The charity information on our platform comes directly from those public IRS records, including your organization’s Tax ID and address.

Daffy is designed to help people be more generous, more often. Daffy charges no fees to charities, so 100% of all donations made on Daffy go to directly to charities. We send those donations via US Mail. We confirm the mailing address with the charity before sending the donation to ensure it goes to the right place. Please make sure that your charity's mailing address is up to date on Daffy. We track the checks we send and reach out to charities if those donations are not deposited.

Daffy also accepts a wide variety of donations: people can use debit or credit cards, ApplePay, or even donate stock and crypto. Everything we do is based on the idea of making it easier for people to donate money to organizations like yours.

While we aim to use the latest information from the IRS, our goal is to ensure the information we provide is up-to-date and accurate. If there is any information on our page that is in error, please let us know and we can update that for you.

If you'd like us to remove your charity from Daffy, please send us an email (support@daffy.org) with the charity's Daffy link or federal tax ID (EIN).
